Concept
Rollable is a responsive web application inspired by Coolors and Fontjoy, generating three conversation topics at a time to spark spontaneous discussion
Designed for moments like coffee chats, dates, or awkward family dinners where you need something to talk about
Scope
Completed the interaction logic and states within this single-page constraint: generate new topics, lock individual cards, export and save topic sets, undo/redo, filter categories, and customize topic similarity
Process
The initial design used a multi-step onboarding flow: users would first select who they were talking to (someone new, a casual friend, family, a coworker) before moving through a series of guided questions to personalize their topics
This approach added friction before users could reach the core experience, so the design was later consolidated into a single page — filters and a toolbar replaced the multi-step flow, letting users personalize their topics instantly without leaving the main screen
This project followed a strict single-page constraint: all interactions, saved topic sets, popups, dropdowns, and modals had to exist within the same page, with no additional pages introduced
